This is your opportunity to spend the summer working for one of the fastest growing companies in Vermont.  Union Street Media designs web sites for small businesses, and creates college-specific web sites at different schools throughout the US, including Middlebury’s Middkid.com.

Position: Middkid.com Business Manager  
Summer 2008 Internship

The Middkid that best fits this position will be entrepreneurial, self-directed, hardworking, and outgoing.  He or she will be responsible for generating revenue in the Middlebury area, meeting with local business owners, renewing the 40+ Middlebury businesses on Middkid.com, and assisting in web-product development for other Union Street Media clients.  The internship then carries over into the academic year as the Campus Manager of Middkid.com and includes a monthly stipend from September ‘08 until May ’09. 

The position includes a monthly stipend, housing contribution, a significant commission opportunity, flexible scheduling and the possibility of full time employment upon graduation.   As the position is like running your own mini-businesses, it’s also an excellent resume builder.  Past interns have leveraged their experience running Middkid.com into good “real world” jobs.
