American Flatbread

American Flatbread is a wood-fired pizzeria where food is hand-made entirely from organic and all natural ingredients. Restaurant seating is in the oven room where guests can see the fire and watch the bakers and cooks as they prepare each order. Restaurant hours: Friday and Saturday evenings 5:00-9:30. Take-Out available whenever possible. Beer and Wine offered.

The goal of American Flatbread is to make truly good food, food that not only fills our hunger and tastes good to our mouths, but also nourishes, nurtures, and heals. To do this we treat the food with respect and start with good ingredients.

Organic tomato sauce is made weekly from scratch and slow simmered in a wood-fired iron cauldron. Our own New Vermont Sausage is made from scratch using locally raised pork and seasoned with a maple-fennel spice reduction. The house salad, as well as many flatbread topping ingredients, come from local organic farms.
