Tourterelle Restaurant
BLENDING CITY SAVVY WITH COUNTRY CHARM
Addison County's newest restaurant is also one of its finest. Bill and Christine Snell, founders of New York's acclaimed Loulou and Cocotte restaurants, have moved to Middlebury and taken over the former Roland's Place.
Their move to Vermont marks the conclusion of a life long dream: to own an inn and restaurant in Vermont. You can now enjoy Tourterelle's amazing cuisine with friends or for a romantic dinner in the beautifully ornate and recently renovated farm house located just north of Middlebury on Route 7.
David Kirby of the New York Times, called the Snells’ cafe, Cocotte, “My favorite restaurant on Fifth Avenue” (a stretch of Park Slope, Brooklyn, known for creative eateries), and referred to Bill’s fare as “warm, wonderful and delicious.” Come see for yourself what the Snells' have created in Vermont!
