This was an interesting class. Well taught.

Decent class and Spackman's a decent professor, but the course itself can be frusterating. Spackman doesn't really explain the nuances of the texts that you read, but merely ensures that everyone knows the highlights of the text (which generally, you'd be able to understand on your own or understand by reading the Stanford Encylopedia of Philosophy). This made the reading and the course kind of redundant and was frustrating grade wise because he expected you to understand the nuances of the texts that were never discussed in class. It's not a huge complaint and I'd still recommend the course if you're interested in Philosophy.
