Usama is a really great Arabic teacher. He knows his Arabic well (being a native speaker and all), but unlike some native speakers, he is good at seeing when concepts are difficult for us because our language is English. This definitly helps when we are covering hard topics in grammar. He has a sense of humor that you don't see initially, but that pops out and is really funny. He recognizes when concepts are challenging and will often go over them again to make sure that we understand them. We get a good variety of practice speaking, writing, listening, etc, in his class. He gives a calm atmosphere to his class, but still helps you improve your Arabic.
