No matter what your ability level, Mad River Glen provides skiing the way it should be everywhere, but isn't anywhere else. Blessed with a totally consistent and steep 2037 vertical drop and some of the most plentiful snowfall in the East, Mad River offers skiing in its most natural state. Unbelievable woods, glades, steeps and drops await the expert all over the mountain, while the absence of snowboards ensures that bumps form in perfect lines.

But here is the surprise: Mad River's Birdland area offers some of the most scenic, uncrowded and pleasant beginner's cruising anywhere, and an excellent ski school to make sure you appreciate it, even if it's your first time on skis. These same instructors can also rocket you from intermediate to advanced in a couple lessons, teaching you how to master bumps, trees and variable conditions.

If the skiing experience isn't enough for you, then the old-school atmosphere, roll-back-the-clock prices, and badass little bar in the Basebox will fill in the gaps. Mad River Glen is definitely worth checking out!
